Happy Haven Night, Canada!

Good morning Havenites!

An all new Haven airs tonight on Showcase, episode 4 "Lost and Found" will air at 9pm ET.

The US won't have a new episode this week, you will have to wait until next Friday December 6th. Be patient.

Last Friday, there were over 13,000 tweets for #DiscoverHaven, so tonight the job to let Syfy know how much we all want a Season 5 is in your hands.

Have a great weekend!

TV Equals: 4.11 Shot in the Dark Review

Haven Season 4 Episode 11 Monster's Ball (3)

Haven went Blair Witch this week when a couple of ghost chasers arrive in town, hot on the trail of a heart-snatching monster. It was a fluffier episode than we’ve had in recent weeks, which was simultaneously nice and unnerving.

The episode begins with the arrival of the monster chasers and a bloody crime scene. The usual for Haven. The meddling duo is intent on exposing the town’s secrets, and they mock the excuses that are typically given to cover up the fallout from the troubles. There was another reference to the Haven “gas leak” story – which was funny the first couple of times, but is becoming a little too shticky now. I didn’t mind the diversion from the heavier William/Audrey storyline, but I could’ve done without the shaky camera shots.

The monster is a creation of William – not the result of a trouble. I like this twist because it gives lots more options when it comes to the town’s problems. It also doesn’t have the pesky baggage that comes when a human is responsible. This particular bad guy is after all children born on a certain date – not-coincidentally, the same date as Jennifer.

Den of Geek: 4.11 Shot in the Dark Review

A SyFy show NOT about ghost hunting reality show types gets a visit from...ghost hunting reality show types!

The town's latest threat is not just a heart-eating monster, but also a film crew for a reality TV series (think Ghost Hunters or Paranormal Witness). Friends Seth and Anderson are filming away when they hear a scream and come upon a body with its heart ripped out. As the police investigate, everyone seems to think the attacker is a werewolf-like creature called a rougarou (and I'm glad someone texted it in the show because I had no idea how to spell it). The Darkside Seekers, as the TV crew are called, manage to piss off most of the police force, especially Dwight (whom they keep calling Bigfoot) and Duke (Ponytail).

Audrey (no one bothers calling her Lexie anymore) and William are both in the hospital recovering from their matching gunshot wounds. Nathan's a little worried about their little connection, since William is obviously dangerous and hurting him will only hurt Audrey. However, suddenly and inexplicably, Audrey and Will are both completely healed and William has escaped the hospital with help from his two goons.

Haven without the Troubles?

'Haven' season 4 episode 10 photos from "The Trouble With the Troubles"

WARNING: This article may contain spoilers.

Get ready for a different sort of episode with this week's "Haven" season 4 episode 10, "The Trouble With the Troubles," and you can get a look at what to expect with the promotional photos and the promo Syfy released Monday, Nov. 11.

In this next "Haven" episode, Audrey (Emily Rose) finds herself in an alternate Haven with no troubles, leaving her with a choice: Does she return Haven to normal or protect the ones she loves? Right now, things are getting crazy in Haven (and that's probably an understatement), and could that tempt Audrey as she tries to make this decision?

As the "Trouble With the Troubles" promo to the left shows, with one wish, the troubles are gone. Haven is now "the safest town in Maine," as a sign proclaims. Nathan's (Lucas Bryant) a doctor and Duke's (Eric Balfour) with the police—and he arrests Audrey. However, William (Colin Ferguson) is still around and the same as the last time we saw him. Plus, check out the promotional photos in the slideshow for a loo at Audrey, Nathan, and Duke in this alternate Haven.

"Haven" season 4 airs Fridays at 10 p.m. on Syfy. What do you think of the episode 10 "The Trouble With the Troubles" photos and promo?

Haven Is Trouble-Free!…?

Next Friday on Haven — in one of this Star Trek fan’s most favorite-titled episodes of anything ever — the Syfy drama will turn Audrey’s world upside-down. And we’ve got not one but three sneak peeks at the mind-bending hour.

In “The Trouble with Troubles,” Audrey awakes to discover that no one remembers her — save for one person — and that Haven is now trouble-free. (Just check out the new town sign in Clip 2.) But the burg’s newfound peace is shattered when William reveals a terrible plan, forcing Audrey to fight for the Haven she loves albeit in a Haven she’s never existed.

Tiffany Vogt Interviews Eric Balfour

TV Equals: 4.09 William Review

Haven Season 4 Episode 9 William 02

Just when we think that Nathan and Audrey have made it through all the obstacles and can finally be happy together, Haven pulls the rug right out from under us. What should have been a happy occasion, the return of William (Colin Ferguson), becomes a complete disaster for all our Havenites.

When we left off last week, Audrey looked like she might shoot Nathan (though ardent viewers would never believe that was possible). Of course, she doesn’t. Duke, Jennifer, Vince, and Dave rush in and find Audrey shooting after the creepy big guy. As they head to the police station, Vince and Dave tell Nathan that the prophecy has changed and that if Audrey kills her true love, it will be catastrophically bad. This definitely seems like things are looking up for Nathan.

Syfy's 'Haven' Welcomes Danny Masterson and Kris Lemche as Guest Stars Friday November 22

Danny+Masterson+XwUB7Rgp7PFm

SYFY’S HAVEN WELCOMES DANNY MASTERSON (Men At Work, THAT ‘70S SHOW) AND KRIS LEMCHE (JOAN OF ARCADIA, GHOST WHISPERER) AS GUEST STARS FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 22 AT 10PM

NEW YORK – November 7, 2013 – Danny Masterson (Men At Work, That ‘70s Show) and Kris Lemche (Joan of Arcadia, Ghost Whisperer) join the cast of Syfy’s popular series Haven as guest stars in the episode airing Friday, November 22 at 10PM (ET/PT).

In the cross-over episode, titled “A Shot in the Dark,” Haven’s season-long social media storyline makes the jump to the small screen when the Darkside Seekers, a duo of paranormal investigators who star in their own low-budget TV reality show, pay the town of Haven a visit to investigate reports of a murder victim missing a heart. The Darkside Seekers are on a mission to expose Haven’s secrets after hearing numerous tales about the Troubles and the strange, hushed up occurrences that have been plaguing the town for years.

Masterson portrays “Anderson Harris,” one half of the Darkside Seekers team. He’s the man behind the camera – more comfortable tinkering with the equipment than with the idea of seeing a ghost. Anderson may be skeptical about the paranormal, but nothing stops him from keeping the cameras rolling if there’s even a remote chance of capturing evidence of the Supernatural on tape.

Lemche plays “Seth Byrne,” the host of the Darkside Seekers TV show. Seth is a true believer who has dedicated his life to the search for absolute proof of the Supernatural. Feisty, funny and fearless, he refuses to let anyone – no matter how intimidating or official – stand in the way of the truth he seeks to reveal.
